Hours And Policies

Here at Moonflower Massage & Wellness, LLC, we understand that everyone's schedule is different.  Our schedule varies week to week to allow for weekend, weekday, morning (8am-2pm), and evening (2pm-8pm) availabilities.

Our Policies 

Please be advised of the policies for this office. 
 
Cancellation
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of an appointment, or you will be charged in full for the appointment. Payment is due before your next appointment.
 
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” You will be charged in full for your “missed” appointment. Payment is due before your next appointment.
 
Tardiness
Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time for your appointment.
 
Sickness
Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.
 
Required Medical Pre-approval
Massage/bodywork may not be appropriate care for people with certain medical Page 1 of 3 conditions or taking certain medications. Pre-approval for massage/bodywork (a doctor's note) will be required for any client who (a) is taking any form of blood thinner, or (b) has had a surgery/procedure in the previous 6 weeks. Massage practitioner has the right to require pre-approval on a situational basis as well.
 
Denial of Care
Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for people with certain medical conditions or taking certain medications. In these situations, care will be denied for the safety of the client.
 
Scope of Practice
Massage therapists/bodyworkers are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe or treat any physical or mental illness, and that nothing said in the course of the session(s) given should be construed as such. Additionally, massage/bodywork should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment and clients should see a physician, chiropractor or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment that they are aware of.
 
Client-Therapist Communication
Clients are expected to inform massage therapists/bodyworkers of any changes to their health/medical profile; there shall be no liability on the therapist's part should you forget to do so. If you experience any pain or discomfort during a session, you will immediately inform the practitioner/therapist so that the pressure and /or strokes may be adjusted to your level of comfort.
 
Ethical Behavior
Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by the client will result in immediate termination of the session, and they will be liable for payment of the "full" scheduled appointment.
